Before you call
- Confirm the thermostat is set to cool and set below the current room temperature.
- Check the breakers for both the indoor and outdoor units.
- Replace a dirty air filter, which can reduce cooling and cause freezing.
- If you see ice, turn the system off and let it thaw before running it again.
